The Overview:

#PrayForHunt is a brand created by Timothy ValVerde, inspired by the cancer journey of his son, Hunt. Rooted in resilience, strength and faith, the brand aims to support and uplift through impactful apparel and content. Tim approached me looking for a visual identity that could tell a powerful story. One that would resonate emotionally, spark conversation and translate across everything from clothing to digital media.

1

The Problem:

The identity needed to be bold, minimal and meaningful. Tim wanted to avoid trends or overly complex visuals, focusing instead on a symbol that felt strong, respectful and emotionally resonant. The design had to represent Hunt’s strength, reflect his nickname “Ninja,” and adapt seamlessly to merchandise like hats, hoodies, YouTube content and beyond. Above all, the logo needed to honour Hunt’s story and become a symbol of inspiration for anyone who encountered it.

2

The Solution

The final logo combines three elements into one mark: a hashtag, a cross and a shuriken. The shuriken subtly references Hunt’s “Ninja” nickname, adding a personal layer of storytelling. A custom typeface with sharp, forward-leaning letterforms reinforces momentum and strength. The system includes multiple logo variations to maintain consistency across different platforms and formats. The result is a mark that’s minimal, powerful and deeply meaningful. It turns #PrayForHunt into a symbol of resilience and connection for everyone who wears or shares it.
